JB Concert, Special Guest Wonder Girls
@ The Toyota Center
in Houston, Texas ~ August 14, 2009Getting to the Toyota Center was an adventure for sure. Nothing beats 4 o' clock traffic but once we made it Downtown we had to find our way in those damn streets til we ended up in front it. There were already a bunch of people waiting to get inside.
Once we parked the car in the parking lot for the center, I got out my memory card to put into the camera Christy had borrowed from her sister and the stupid plastic case it came in cut my finger! So I suffered an accident in order to meet the Wonder Girls, which I have to say was worth it anyways XD
We made it past security just fine and once we were inside the building, I went and got a bandaid from the First Aid area and after we walked around in a circle. The building is basically one big circle and must I mention it was my first time there~ I was hoping to see some Wonder Girls fans but I saw none, Tanya and Christy did though and didnt even tell me! I got in line at one of the merchandise areas and bought a Youth Large Wonder Girls shirt because they didnt have any for adults.
When we got to the area where our seats were, we all kinda freaked out at the site of the stairway going down to our seats. It was pretty steep seeing as how the tickets I got were all the way at the top. Tanya hypervantilated and had a nervous breakdown while Christy and I made our way to the row we were supposed to sit in. The view wasnt bad at all even though we were up high though I would have preferred floor seats but you know XD GET WHAT YOU CAN. Anyways, Tanya made it down and sat down and we blew up our balloons. We had bought a bag of maroon ballons since that is the girl's group color.
I think we waited somewhere around 45 minutes for the concert to start. The Jonas Brothers fangirls kept screaming like nobody's business. It was really annoying. The first band to go up was Honor Society and they performed like 6 songs. I kept wanting them to finish because they made it seem like they were going to finish but kept on going. I did like one song by them which I need to go find.
The Wonder Girls were introduced by a video by the Jonas Brothers themselves and when the girls came out, the stadium busted into loud screaming. I swear most of these fans didnt know the girls but I was so happy to hear them scream in joy XD The girls first performed Tell Me in English. I was dancing along while singing in Korean to it because I dont know the English lyrics lol. Tanya was singing in Korean to it as well and Christy was taking pictures. After they performed Tell Me, the girls taught the whole crowd how to dance to Nobody. When they performed Nobody, everyone was dancing along with them. I took my part in singing and dancing as well XD Christy filmed the performance which I will upload to youtube later.
After the girls finished performing, they told us where they would be at for the fan meeting and we quickly got up and ran over to the area. This is where we met a bunch of Wonder Girls fans. We made a few friends in the proccess as well. I think the person we liked the most was Young, this Korean guy that came up to us and asked where the girls were gonna be at. We spent about half an hour talking to him and these other girls about Wonder Girls and kpop in general. All of the sudden we heard these doors and open and guess who came out?!
THE WONDER GIRLS THEMSELVES! OMG, we completely freaked out and started calling them out saying hi and waving at them.
THEY LOOKED ABSOLUTELY PERFECT OMG Ye Eun was walking ahead of the other girls and I was like
YE EUN! WE MADE POSTERS!" I said about three times until she heard me and when she looked over at me
SHE GRINNED AT ME AND POINTED AT MY POSTER XD The other girls were smiling and waving at the group of us who was standing there and as they kept walking, we followed them. I was about
2 feet (which is less than a meter)
behind Sun Mi and Sohee and while walking behind them
I SAW MiSoI SAW MiSo IN PERSON RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Sun Mi placed her arm around Sohee's waist for about 10 seconds before Sohee brushed it off but Sun Mi did it again!
Christy managed to get a little video clip of us following the girls. Sun Mi saw her filming her and kinda walked a little faster XD It's cute. Watch it here.
When they went through the doors to go on the elavators, Young followed them and the managers through the doors and they kicked him out XD I laughed but poor boy, he just wanted to meet them so bad~ We really spent the whole time that was left for the show to end worrying about meeting the girls. We hoped they would still do the meet and greet where we were waiting at. The group that was with us was impressed at the fact that I can write in Korean lol, especially Young.
Anyways, to shorten this long story, right before the concert ended the managers came out and started setting up the Wonder Girls poster on the wall. We all go in line but then the managers had to move the poster and meeting place to this hallway that was right next to where we where at because the workers at the Toyota Center didnt want the fans blocking the hallway. They played Nobody to let the fans know where the meeting place was at and I was doing my job of helping promote by holding up Tanya's poster above my head XD
When we finally got to meet the girls, they let Tanya, Christy and myself go in a group. We had prepared a card for the girls and I had decided, thanks to a video that

flubberduckkaye had posted on her LJ, I got the
idea to give Sun Mi my SNSD 2nd Mini Album as a gift. As we walked up to the girls, I went directly to Sun Mi and handed her the card and the CD.
SunMi looked at the card and when she moved it to see what was under it~
SHE FANGIRLED RIGHT NEXT TO ME AND SOHEE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO CALM HER DOWN FOR THE PICTUREI could tell she was so excited to get it that she held it up when we took the picture. I was between SunMi and Yoobin and Yoobin had her arms around Christy and me 8D~ We took two pictures with them because one was for their website and the other one was with our camera.
After taking the pictures, I went to Ye Eun and told her that she was my favorite and that I loved her. Ye Eun shook my hand and then pulled me in for a hug. I DIED D8
♥I hugged Yoobin right after, then Sun Mi who I was for sure mouthed thank you to me, I dont remember exactly, Sohee hugged me after and then I went to Sunye and hugged her. As we walked away my life had been completed for serious. I handed Young the stuff I was holding for him in my bag and then we all walked out of the arena. We were fangirling outside and I even took off some of the letters on my poster than posted them back on there XD
